To Submit Complaints and Suggestions: Egypt Launches First Dedicated Investor Care Platform
Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT Minister), launched the Investor Care Platform for Investment-Related Complaints and Suggestions, available at Investorcomplaints.gafi.gov.eg. The Platform establishes a unified channel for receiving investors’ complaints and ensuring that they are followed up on and resolved in a transparent and professional manner.
Dr. Farid said that the Platform represents an effective tool for monitoring the efficiency of the investment ecosystem based on measurable indicators and benchmarking its performance against global standards. It will also provide decision-makers with real-time reports to support decision-making and analysis of the investment environment in Egypt.
He outlined the steps for submitting complaints and suggestions through the Platform, beginning with accessing it and registering a complaint, followed by tracking the complaint using the unique reference number assigned to each complaint, and ultimately resolving the complaint and evaluating the service. He noted that the Ministry will intensify its efforts in the coming period to raise awareness of the new Platform among the investment community.
Dr. Farid explained that the Ministry has established an integrated coordination mechanism with all entities concerned with investment affairs, contributing to faster and more efficient responses to complaints, ensuring continuous service availability throughout the week, and jointly pursuing further development of the Platform in line with investors’ suggestions and needs.
Dr. Mohamed Awad, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), affirmed that GAFI is committed to providing all the technical and human resources required to ensure the Platform’s optimal operation. He added that artificial intelligence tools will be used to proactively monitor investors’ complaints across various platforms, as well as intelligently classify suggestions, complaints, and inquiries and analyze related trends.
He added that the new Platform provides a seamless and enhanced experience for investors seeking to submit complaints or suggestions, with a specified timeframe for response and the ability to track complaints through a reference number until they are resolved. The Platform also enables investors to assess their satisfaction with the services provided.
