Benha Hosts Egypt’s 15th ISC Serving 28,000 Companies Across Three Governorates.

MIFT and Labour Ministers and Governor of Qalyubia Inaugurate Benha ISC.

Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh:

  • We are working to increase the number of ISCs across the governorates and expand investment zones.
  • Our priority is to localize development across the country.

Dr. Mohamed Awad:

  • The geographical expansion of ISCs enhances the availability of services close to sites of economic activity.
  • The ISC provides an integrated suite of services to reduce the time, effort, and costs and improve the investor experience.

As part of the State's efforts to develop the investment environment, streamline procedures for the business community, and bring government services closer to sites of economic activity, Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade (MIFT Minister), and Mr. Hassan Raddad, Minister of Labour, inaugurated the Investors Services Center (ISC) at Benha Investment Zone, in the presence of Dr. Hossam El-Din Abdel Fattah, Governor of Qalyubia, and Dr. Mohamed Awad, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI CEO). The inauguration reflects the integrated efforts of State institutions to support investors and promote economic activity across the governorates.
With the inauguration of Benha ISC, the number of ISCs nationwide has increased to 15. Benha ISC alone serves more than 28,000 companies in the governorates of Qalyubia, Gharbia, and Monufia, enhancing investors' access to investment services close to their business and production sites, while supporting the State's efforts to develop the governorates and maximize the benefits of each area's competitive advantages.
Benha ISC provides a range of investment services, starting with company incorporation in its various legal forms and extending to post-incorporation services, including commercial registry, real estate registration and notarization, tax, social insurance, and Ministry of Labour services. It also provides services related to the General Organization for Export and Import Control (GOEIC), as well as invoice and document certification and other services related to foreign trade. This provides investors with a clear point of contact with government entities throughout the various stages of their projects.
Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh stated that localizing development is a high priority in MIFT's strategy, explaining that MIFT is working to achieve this by increasing the number of ISCs across the governorates and expanding investment zones. This will bring services closer to sites of economic activity and support the establishment and expansion of projects across the country.
On his part, Dr. Mohamed Awad affirmed that the inauguration of Benha ISC represents a new step in GAFI's plan to expand the provision of investment services close to sites of economic activity. He noted that Benha ISC will facilitate investors' access to services and enable them to complete procedures efficiently and quickly through an integrated suite of services, thereby reducing the time, effort, and costs involved and improving the investor experience.
Furthermore, Dr. Mohamed Awad announced that Benha ISC offers a fast-track (VIP) service to investors from all governorates across the country. It also provides a dedicated counter for completing procedures for founders with disabilities, reflecting GAFI's commitment to enabling all members of society to contribute to economic development.
