BSH Home Appliances, a global leader in the home appliance sector and the parent company of renowned brands such as Bosch, is making a landmark investment in Egypt that reinforces the country’s role as a strategic industrial and export hub in the region.

The company is establishing its first manufacturing facility on the African continent in 10th of Ramadan City, with a total investment of EUR 55 million. This state-of-the-art facility will specialize in the production of free-standing cookers, with 50% of output serving the Egyptian market and the remaining 50% exported across the Middle East and Africa.

Scheduled to commence operations in June 2025, the factory is expected to generate approximately 1,000 direct and indirect jobs, further supporting local economic growth while strengthening Egypt’s position in regional manufacturing and trade.

This investment underscores BSH’s long-term commitment to the Egyptian market, reflecting the company’s confidence in Egypt’s industrial potential and its vision of positioning the country as a vital player in global supply chains and export networks.
