Electronic Licensing Services
GAFI offers a digital platform for submitting and tracking license applications provided by multiple ministries and authorities via the Investors Services Center (ISC). GAFI’s Central Licensing Department first reviews applications for compliance before forwarding them to the relevant issuing authorities for technical review and issuance of an approval or rejection. Upon approval, the applicant pays the applicable fees, and the license is issued.
Steps for e-Licensing
- Register on the Licensing Platform and submit the required application for the required license/ approval/ permit to be obtained from the relevant government entity.
- Upload documents for compliance review by GAFI.
- External authorities conduct technical review and provide approval or additional requirements.
- Submit any additional documents or pay applicable fees.
- Pay the fees (in case of approval) or upload the requested additional documents.
- The competent authority issues the final permit, approval, or license, as applicable.
