Companies Law No. 159 of 1981
Law No. 159 of 1981 regulates the rules and procedures of incorporating companies (joint stock, partnerships limited by shares, and limited liability companies). It also governs the formation and distribution of capital, profits, and losses for such companies, as well as their management, the responsibilities of those in charge of management, methods of administration, and the legal liabilities arising from incorporation and management. Additionally, it outlines how decisions are made, and the dissolution and merger of corporations. The Law does not specify particular commercial activities; rather, it permits the practice of all commercial activities under its framework.
