Investor Service Centers (ISCs)
The establishment of Investors Services Center (ISC) was a crucial step towards providing services to all investors as per the provisions of Investment Law No. 72 of 2017. The Law sets a specific period of time for the completion of licenses, automating services, electronic procedures, and the competent authorities' adherence to consider electronic signatures and accept electronic payment for all its payments, which are necessary steps to eliminate bureaucracy and improve the investment climate.
Entities Represented at ISC
The Investors Services Center at GAFI hosts representatives from administrative entities or public utility companies responsible for issuing approvals, permits, and licenses. Pursuant to the provisions of Investment Law No. 72 of 2017, these representatives are vested with the authority to issue such approvals, permits, and licenses in accordance with the technical requirements stipulated in the relevant governing laws and the Investment Procedures Guide issued by GAFI. Additionally, all powers granted to the competent authority regarding properties allocation and the issuance of the necessary approvals, permits, and licenses.
